Arlington West

Few years back at the Santa Monica beach pier, what I didn't expect to see a sea of crosses and veterans family at Arlington West.

On the anniversary of D-Day I was privileged to experience a different generation of veterans and gratitude from a nation at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France. Following words are inscribed in the walls of the memorial:
If ever proof were needed that we fought for a cause and not for conquest it could be found in these cemeteries. Here was our only conquest: All we asked... was enough.. Soil in which to bury our gallant dead.
General Mark W. Clark

Memorial Day for me has become a time to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice by veteran's families and the innocent victims.

Purpose, Self-worth and Community

One great example of taking positive action is Team Rubicon Honoring the veterans by creating the opportunity to give back the sense of Purpose, Self-worth and Community.
