When I saw the Model S for the first time it shattered any preconceptions I had about an electric car. First time I sat in the Model S, I was impressed with the clean, sleek and spacious design.  The craftsmanship and tailoring that went into the interior design is manifested in every detail. You sense the passion and thought. This machine was something more than I could imagine.

The first 10 Signature performance versions of the Model S are ready to be picked up by their owners at the Tesla factory in Fremont, California. As of now the Model S has over 10,000 reservations, and not a single one has even hit the road yet. But if you're in the market for a sleek and sexy electric car, be prepared to open your wallet and get in line. The Model S Signature is priced from $95,400 to $105,400.

The sedan, which seats five adults and two children in optional, rear-facing seats, goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, and is able to go 265 miles (426 kilometers) per charge, according to the company. The Model S very low center of gravity courtesy of the location of its electric powertrain under the floorboard of the vehicle, paired with an aluminum body creating an instantaneous acceleration, traveling 60 miles per hour, without hesitation and without a drop of gasoline.
