JFK

Forty-seven years ago today.President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. President Kennedy was just 46 years old when he died.

President Kennedy, it seems, was destined for greatness at an early age.  He was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" by his high school classmates.  President Kennedy was a Decorated Military Officer who served during World War II.  He won a Pulitzer Prize in 1957 for his book, Profiles In Courage and was the second youngest President in U.S. history at the age of 43.

In remembrance of this great man and politician, I am posting his Inauguration Address from January 20, 1961.  It's a great, passionate speech that was supposed to be the start of a long, promising presidency. For those who have never seen this speech but only know it's famous line, you will see the great love that JFK had for this country.

I wasn't even born during President Kennedy's lifetime and yet I am still inspired by this speech as I hope you will be, as well.
