I wish I had a better relationship with my siblings

My (our) mother passed away about 6 months ago.  I was named executor of her Will.  Myself as well as my 3 sisters are equal beneficiaries.  We do not get along with eachother and a couple of us haven't spoken in years.  Now I am faced with contacting my sisters and let them know what their beneficiry interest are from my mother's estate.  Given our history I am expected a lot of challenges, resentment and potential hostility that could all lead to very unnecessary costs if lawyers get involved.
