Things I Learned
FROM DAD:
- Always make your bed in the morning. You’ll feel better coming home after a long day to an organized space.
- Write thank you cards to every person who gives you something. They’ll appreciate your thoughtfulness and are likely to be generous next time.
- Turn off the lights when you’re not in the room so you don’t waste electricity.
- Buy a coordinated piece of art that ties the space together.
- Love comes from family and the positive people you surround yourself with.
FROM MOM:
- Sometimes a messy bed is more inviting for afternoon naps.
- Write hand-written thank you cards for those outstanding moments. You’ll be more genuine.
- When you turn a light off, light a candle.
- Make a unique piece of art that inspires you to keep creating.
- Love comes from God.
