Cooking 4 Life: Want To Eat Like Taylor Swift?

Lets face it, most of us love celebrities.  We might love their style, their acting, or their over-the-top antics.  There are dozens of magazines, tv shows, and hours of radio talk about the latest goings-on of celebrities.  Most of the time these articles revolve around the latest indiscretion or romantic dalliance someone had, but almost as often, these celebrities give tips on their workout routines, favorite meals, or views on politics.

Without going into details of whether a celebrity is right or wrong, they do generally have the ability to sample delicious delicatessens from around the world.  So, for this week’s recipe, why not pick Taylor Swift’s favorite recipe? Rack of Lamb

Taylor Swift’s Favorite Recipe-How You Can Make It At Home

Taylor’s favorite recipe is a very simple rack of lamb.  The key to this recipe, like most, is using the freshest possible ingredients.  The base, and star, of this dish is the lamb.  By going to your local butcher, you’ll be able to get the best possible rack of lamb possible.  From there, make cross-cut marks on the lamb and season with salt and pepper.  In a hot pan, sear the outsides of the lamb and place in a hot convection oven (skin side down) for 7-8 minutes.

To make the beautiful crust, you need breadcrumbs, parsley, thyme and basil.  Combine all 4 ingredients into a blender with a drizzle of olive oil.  Once fully blitzed, cover the rack of lamb with Dijon mustard and “dip” the rack of lamb into your bread crumb creation.  Place back in the oven for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown on the outside.
