Backyard Shop Class

This is a great example of a school research project that turned into a backyard shop class, turned into a value creation and the rewards of learning and realizing a dreams. Invaluable life lessons that all 16 year olds can be exposed to.

What an excellently articulated argument. The bit about the “B.S. Quotient,” being relatively low when your fixing bikes as oppsed to being a middle manager was excellent, really rang true. Gives pause on contemplating skilled labor vs. the automatic rush to college. Although, this fellow has the benefit of both a formal advanced education and tactile skills. Very good, thanks for sharing.
