7 Lessons learned from Three Cups of Tea

I am sure many have read Three Cups of Tea written by Greg Mortenson & David Oliver Relin.  I am quite sure that those who have read it, found it as facinating and inspring as I did.

For those who dont know, Three Cups of Tea is the real life story of how Greg Mortenson was saved by a remote village in Northern Pakistan after a failed attempt to climb K2 almost left him for dead.  As a thank you for saving his life, he vows to return to the village and build a school.  Well, this changed Greg's life and in the process of building that first school he co-founded the Central Asia Institue (CAI). The CAI despite incredible obstacles and sacrifices, has since built over 100 schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Greg's mission is to promote peace, one school at a time.

After reading the book, I was so inspired to share the valuable lessons I learned from true story of Three Cups of Tea.
