30 year old Nicola Spirig of Switzerland and 27 year old Lisa Norden of Sweden in what looked like a 100 meter photo finish and not the Olympic triathlon. Spirig was declared the winner, clinching Switzerland's first medal of the London Games, Lisa Norden the silver her final kick photo finish was just short of the gold and, Erin Densham of Australia won the bronze medal.

My favorite moments were the reactions after the finish line on the ground knowing they had reached their maximum potential and left nothing on the course today.
