I normally start tuning into professional sports during the playoff, this a big weekend for three major sports and for one arena in Los Angeles.

UEFA The European Champions League final, one of the biggest football (soccer) games of the year. Chelsea vs. Bayern Munich

NBA playoff games: San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakes, Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers

NHL playoff games: Los angeles Kings vs. Phoenix Coyotes, New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils

Amgen Tour of California is the last major international race before the Tour de France. 16 of the world’s top professional cycling teams will finish a 800 miles of scenic California highways and roadways in front of Staples Center just before the start of the Kings playoff game.

Staples Center changeover from basketball court to ice rink

This weekend a record number of major sport events are held at one arena, a total of 6 games in 4 days at the Los Angeles Staple center. The home to NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
