Steve Jobs . Biography . Connecting the dots ...

60 Minutes's interview with Walter Isaacson, the authorized biographer of Steve Jobs. Isaacson has writen biographies of Einstein-His Life and Universe (2007), Benjamin Franklin-An American Life and others. Steve Jobs's was already gravely ill with cancer when he asked author Walter Isaacson to write his biography. Jobs told Isaacson to write a honest book - about his failings and his strengths. Isaacson has done a masterful job of connecting the dots.

Reality distortion field (RDF)

RDF was said by Andy Hertzfeld to be Steve Jobs' ability to convince himself and others to believe almost anything with a mix of superficial charm, charisma, bravado, hyperbole, marketing, appeasement, and persistence. RDF was said to distort an audience's sense of proportion and scales of difficulties and made them believe that the task at hand was possible.
