We Need to Make a Birthday Cake Wish Everyday

In a world of uncertainly and fear, it helps to return to the childhood innocence of making a wish. Simple as giving a salutation for enjoying a good day to as intense as praying for the healing of a cancer patient. A wish is the first step to achieving a goal and realizing a dream. As children, wishes are the tickets to fulfilling desires such as trips to Disneyland and toys. As adults, we too can return to this freedom and simplicity by breaking away from the shackles of our "normal" existance.

Doug, thanks for making this poignant point. That’s so right, many of our greatest and most regarding achievements/experiences start out with a simple ‘wish.’ Allowing adults the freedom and creativity to wish again is truly a lost art. Let’s rekindle that childhood imagination.
